Abstract
In the synthesizing processes of naphthalene-based superplasticizer,the recovered volatile naphthalene has deeper color,and its purity is lower by 3% than that of industrial naphthalene.The naphthalene-based superplasticize added with volatile naphthalene was used to make cement paste,the results show that with increasing the amount of volatile naphthalene replacing industrial naphthalene,the initial fluidity of cement paste added with the manufactured naphthalene-based superplasticizer decreases,and the fluidity losses of cement paste with time increases.The concrete experimental studies show that with increasing the amount of volatile naphthalene,the water-reducing ratio of the naphthalene-based superplasticizer decreases,and the enhancing effect for concrete strength also decreases.Therefore,in the processes of recovery of volatile naphthalene,its replacing amount should not be too more,the pro-per amount is better lower than 5%.
