Recent advances in technologies of biomass gasification to produce syngas

The technology of syngas production through biomass gasification is a kind of clean energy transition technology,in which the greenhouse effect caused by fossil fuels combustion can be reduced.In this paper,the advantages and main applications of the technology of biomass gasification to syngas are introduced.The research progress of the technology is emphasized.Moreover,the main problems of the technology of biomass gasification to syngas are analyzed and discussed.The prospect of this technology is also proposed.It is pointed out that the new technology,efficient gasification reactors and excellent catalysts will be focused in the future.
