Abstract

Objective To seek for characteristics in ultrasonography of tendon tissues. Methods Observing ultrasonogram of normal and traumatize flexor tendons of chicken toe and find out corresponds with ultrasonography and histological morphology during the healing process of tendon. Results Results Normal tendon has its ultrasonographic characteristics during various stages of its healing process after tendon injury. The ultrasonogram shows corresponding alteratives in accordance with the histological change. Conclusions As the high frequency ultrasound can provide distinct image of tendon in various conditions, it can be used as an auxiliary examination in diagnose of tendon injury and following its healing condition.
