Abstract

The discrete management mode was built with geo-statistics and 3S technology in Zuding Village, Songjiang County, Shanghai, after sampling soil with grid of 50m×50m and analysis of soil nutrients spatial variance. Recommended fertilization on rice and watermelon was studied with the discrete management mode. The results showed that recommended fertilization not only provided rice and watermelon balanced nutrients but also invreased the yield of rice 14-27% and the yield of watermelon about 10% which decreased total nutrient application. so that soil nutrient management was more reasonable.
