The Spring Avian Community Structrue in Qianhu of Nanchang,Jiangxi Province

From Mar to May of 2007,a survey on the avian spring community was conducted in Qianghu area of Nanchang,Jiangxi Province.The results showed that there were 959 individuals recorded totally which belonged to 11 orders,i.e.26 families or 54 species.Of these birds,Passeriformes and Ciconiiformes were the most predominant in the community.In the types of settlement pattern,the proportions values of individuals and species nos.all were highest for the resident,which arrived to 45% and 41%,respectively.The avian species diversity and evenness index were 2.86 and 0.72 in the investigated area,respectively.The billabong community owned the highest values of species diversity(2.93) and evenness(0.92) in 7 different habitats.In total,the habitat was influenced markedly by the human activity,and the accompanied-human birds composed the main dominant species in the investigated area.
