Abstract
PCI bus has been widely used in the PC industry as a high -speed bus standard. This article describes how to interface the HPI of Texas Instruments TMS320VC54xx digital signal processors (DSP) to the PCI bus using the PLX PCI 9054 I/O accelerator building a high performance data transfer construction. It involved in fundamental principle, hardware and software structure. The PCI 9054 with the DSP simplified the structure can be used in high-speed voice processing, high-speed image processing, and other high-speed data processing applications widely.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
