Tradescantia(Tradescantia paludosa) as a excellent species in the monitoring for the environment pollution is welcome by the environmentalists.In the past,Tradescantia micronucleu test and tradescantia stamen hair mutation test were used to monitor the pollution of the environment.But now,Tradescantia was researched on the level of molecule and gene expression.According to the advance of research of tradescantia ecotoxicology all the world,this paper summarized the advance of research and significance of new problem of Tradescantia micronucleu mechanisms and tradescantia stamen hair mutation mechanisms ,and the development of the probe test technology,quantification test technology and tradescantia ecotoxicogenome and so on in order to give a reference to research the tradescantia molecular toxicology.
