Mesoporous Alumina Molecular Sieves Synthesized by Hydrothermal Crystallization Method

Abstract

The ordered mesoporous alumina is a mesoporous material with high BET specific surface areas,regular structure,narrow range of pore diameter,and is applied in the chemical domain widely.Mesoporous alumina is synthesized by using aluminum sec-butoxide as aluminum resource,stearic acid as template by hydrothermal crystallization method,and the preparation condition is optimized.The optimal crystallization conditions are 110℃ and 2d,the result which is analyzed by XRD,low temperature adsorption-desorption and SEM show that the sample of alumina was a classic mesopore molecular sieves,the BET specific surface areas,pore volume,range of pore diameter and average pore diameter of the sample is 408m2/g,0.65cm3/g,3-6nm,3.4nm respectively.
