Abstract
The shading system is widely used as an energy efficiency technology in hot summer and cold winter area.In this paper,an outdoor test rig which was used to measure the shading effect of the new shading system was introduced.With this test rig,the experimental study was carried out,the solar heat gains and the solar heat gain coefficients in different directions were obtained.Through the comparative analysis of the experimental and theoretical values,the good agreement was found.In addition,it was observed that the solar incidence angles and solar heat gain coefficients changed with time,for these two parameters,the consistency trendy was achieved.It was concluded that the measuring method was feasible for the new shading system.
