Abstract

The whole level of imperial examination in Hunan province of Ming Dynasty subsided. The district distribution of the talents was more balanced and more comprehensive. Hostilities, the district limitation, prohibition and damages of the Academy in the early period of Ming Dynasty were three reasons that confined the development of the Imperial Examination in Hunan province of Ming Dynasty.
