Application of magnetic sensor in the field of navigation

Abstract

Aim at magnetic sensor technology,this thesis discussed the basic principles,function characteristics of Hall compass,flux gate compass,magnetoresistance compass and giant magnetoresistance compass and their applications in the field of navigation.Based on a GMR sensor and computer technique,a giant magnetoresistance compass applicable to a ship have been developed.This type compass will prosprosperous when applied to navigation.
