Abstract

In the intrusion detection algorithm based on the pattern matching,the quality of the pattern-matching algorithm has direct influence on the functions of the detection system.This paper introduces several pattern-matching algorithms used in the intrusion detection system,and analyzes their complexity and applicability,and makes forecast of the researching directions of the future pattern-matching algorithms.
