ANALGESIC ANTI-INFLAMMATORY TOPICAL CREAM AND MANUAL THERAPY IN TREATING ACUTE MASTITIS

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effects of analgesic anti-inflammatory topical cream and manipulative treatment on acute mastitis.Methods 100 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group of 50 patients topical anti-infective thyerapy and massage therapy and the control group of 50 patients simply treated with anti-infective therapy.Results In the treatment group,47 cases were cured,3 cases got improved,and the total effective rate was 100%.38 cases were cured in three days and 47 cases were cured in five days.In the control group,35 cases were cured,15 cases got improved,and the total effective rate was 89%.21 cases were cured in 3 days and 38 cases were cured in five days.Better curative effects were got in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The combined use of analgesic anti-inflammatory topical cream and manipulative treatment canproduce better clinical results than the application of anti-infective treatment only.
