Abstract

Objective To discuss the endoscopic performance and features of gastric diverticula. Methods Endoscopic performance of 35 patients with gastric diverticula was analyzed retrospectively. Results Thirty-five cases of gastric diverticula were diagnosed by gastroscopy. The detection rate was 0.058%.There was no significant difference in gender composition(P0.05).Diverticula located in fundus and antrum were 48.57% and 42.86% respectively, which was significantly higher than diverticula in the body of stomach(8.57%).Diameter of diverticula was significantly larger in gastric body than that in antrum(P0.01).And the ages of patients with diverticula in the stomach body were significantly higher than patients with diverticula in the stomach antrum(P0.05).Diverticula in fundus was mostly found in greater curvature and posterior wall. The antral diverticula was mostly found in the greater curvature, and the diverticula of gastric body was mostly found in the anterior and posterior wall of stomach. Conclusion Gastric diverticula is a rare disease. It is commonly found in the fundus and antrum. The detection rates of men and women are close with rare complications.
