The Current Situation of After-School Sports in Rural Areas of Northwest of Jilin Province and Research on Countermeasures

This paper used document literature,investigation,mathematical statistics,and comparative analysis methods to investigate and analyze the current situation of after-school sports in rural schools of northwest of Jilin,through the research,conclusions were drawn as follows: 1.The management of rural schools' after-school sports activities needs to be improved and strengthened.2.Exercises between classes are well carried out,but one hour a day extra-curricular sports activity has not been truly implemented.3.There is a great feasibility in developing after-school sports training,while the sports teams are mostly organized for matches.(4) The development of rural schools' after-school sports in northwest of Jilin is difficult and urgent.The paper proposed countermeasures into the development of after-school sports for the local schools: 1.Strengthening the management of the rural schools' after-school sports.2.Improving school running conditions.3.Taking references and studying the advanced experiences of other rural school.
