Abstract

Today more and more governments have realized the importance of developing e-Government. The meaning of e-Government is changing the operation mode of the government, integrating the function of the government, and enhancing the competence of the country. All the governments are facing the problem: How to begin with the e-Government to achieve the government reconversion? At the beginning of developing e-Government, there are many things that would conflict with the traditional management mode. In this paper, the author probes into the e-Government from the viewpoint of propelling the transition of government function and the government process reengineering.
