Abstract

This paper offers new process safety management mode Layer of Protection Analysis Based HAZOP to prevent major accidents from process safety definition.Then,it analyzes the coal slurry gasification unit using this method,identifies the major process hazards and offers 31 counter-measures.It1offers the strong technical support to prevention the1major process accidents for this unit.
