Observation on the treatment effect of epidural self-control analgesia in labor

Objective To analyze and discuss the treatment effect of epidural self-control analgesia in labor.Methods The clinical data between 46 puerperas treated with compared epidural self-control analgesia(observation group) and 40 puerperas treated with natural labor(control group) was compared.Results The vital sign,incubation,time of the second stage of labor and Apger between two groups were not different(P all0.05),however,the active phase of observation group was shorter than that of control group(P0.01), the analgesia effect of observation group was better than that of control group(P0.01). The analgesia total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P0.01).Conclusion The epidural self-control analgesia in labor can improve the labor pain of puerpera,it should be popularized as a labor analgesia treatment.
