Abstract
The process for the preparation of polyaluminum sulfate from by-product lime and aluminum wastes was studied. The influences of experimental conditions on the alkalify degree and coagulation effect were investigated. The optimum condition:the amount-of-substance ratio of Ca(OH)_(2) to Al_(2)(SO_(4))_(3)was 1.5∶1;reaction temperature was 84℃;reaction time was 60~65min;pH 3.5;stabilizer was citric acid. The results of the coagulation experiments for treating wastewater show that the performance of the polyaluminum sulfate is much better than that of commercial aluminum sulfate.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.

Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
