Analysis on China's Coal Economy

After the financial crisis,the focus of world coal consumption has moved towards Asia-Pacific region,and the regionalization is obvious.While the world coal production and consumption is increasing,the recovery in world coal prices is weak.This paper offers some measures for the coal economic development in China,these are: we should establish a sound system of coal market,and actively promote the benign development of the coal market so that the issues concerning supply and demand and resource allocation can be accurately and timely reflected by the market.In addition,in the process of coal market development,we should pay more attention to the improvement of coal enterprises,and the government should play the role of macro-control.We should focus efforts on the market change,launch initiatives pertaining to the quantitative control to maintain the basic balance of coal supply and demand.
