Abstract

The mining subsidence and strata movement of N coal mine area is investigated by means of analysis of practical measurement data, modeling experiment and numeric analyzing. Similitude model is established by modeling theory, and numeric analysis is implemented by 2D σ program. The results show that the subsidence curve and horizontal movement curve are not continuous and smooth, but are unsymmetrical with some variation caused by geological conditions. The subsidence parameter, horizontal movement parameter, top subsidence extent and other parameters used to predict ground movement are obtained. These parameters are consonant with the practical values of local mining conditions and helpful to mining engineering. It has been proven by practice that the research achievements are beneficial to ground movement control and subsidence disaster prediction.
