The clinical study of the effect of cerebral hemodynamic on treating convalescent cerebral infarction with the Quanjing Acupuncture Therapy

Objective: To investigate the changes of the cerebral hemodynamic monitored by TCD in the patients of convalescent cerebral infarction treated with the Quanjing acupuncture.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups.30 patients in the treatment group were treated by Quanjing acupuncture and basic treatment;30 patients in the control group were treated by traditional acupuncture and the same basic treatment,once before the treatment and once after 3 periods of treatment.The variety of the mean blood flow velocity(Vm) of the cerebral middle artery(MCA) and the pulsatile index(PI) which were monitored and observed by transcranial doppler ultrasonography(TCD).Results: ①The Vm of the two side of MCA apparently increased in both the treatment group and control group(P0.01,P0.05).It was much significant that the increase of Vm of MCA in the side of cerebral infarction was more than that in the side of cerebral non-infarction in both the treatment group and control group(P0.01).It was significant that the increase of Vm of MCA in the side of cerebral infarction in the treatment group was more than that in the control group(P0.01).②The PI of MCA in the side of cerebral infarction apparently decreased in both treatment group and control group(P0.01,P0.05).It was significant that the decrease of PI of MCA in the side of cerebral infarction in treatment group was more than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Quanjing acupuncture can increase the Vm and decrease the PI of MCA in the side of cerebral infarction of patients with convalescent cerebral infarction,which have been indicated that Quanjing acupuncture can improve the cerebral blood circulation and increase the supply of cerebral blood flow,which is superior to traditional acupuncture.
