Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of short-systemic corticosteroids for patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 70 cases of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease were randomly divided into two groups. The control group were treated with standard hormone, while the observation group were treated with short systemic corticosteroids. Lung function(FRV1%pred),arterial blood gas changes before and after treatment(Pa O2/Pa CO2/p H), the success rate of treatment, 2 h postprandial blood glucose levels of two groups were compared. Results Pa O2/Pa CO2/p H improvement after treatment in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P 0.05);2 h postprandial blood glucose levels in the the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P 0.05);The success rate of treatment and lung function improvement in the two groups were no significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion Application short systemic corticosteroids in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease has high clinical effect, which can significantly improve the patient's blood gas analysis, and be safe for patients.
