Abstract
Oxalic acid content in leaves,petioles,roots,different parts of fruits and different developmental stages of fruits with Singapore sweet carambola and Guangzhou local acid carambola was detected by ion chromatography.Also oxalic acid content of star fruits was detected respectively with Singapore sweet carambola fertilized by different fertilizer and treated by hot water.The results as follows,the oxalic acid content of fruits rapidly increased,then decreased gradually to a low peak in the mature period.The content of oxalic acid was the highest in leaves and was the lowest in pulp.Organic manure could more effectively reduce soluble oxalic acid content of star fruits than chemical manure.The soluble oxalic acid content of small fruits treated by hot water for 3 minutes was reduced over 42%.
