Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical significance of prenatal ultrasonography for detecting fetal diseases. Methods Fetal during 20-28 gestational weeks underwent real-time color Doppler ultrasonography for a number of cutting face to give a routine prenatal ultrasonographic examination. Results In all 5473 pregnant women,153 cases were diagnosed fetal congenital anomalies on ultrasonography, fetal anomalies rate of about 2.79%.Another 24 cases who had micro-malformation and cardiovascular malformation were misdiagnosed on color Doppler ultrasonography. Conclusion A routine prenatal ultrasonographic examination in the second-trimester pregnancy is an important means of perinatal checks, which can detect obvious fetal congenital malformations in prenatal diagnosis, and plays a very significant role in increasing the detection rate of fetal anomalies, reducing the birth of deformed children, lower infant and perinatal mortality and improving new born population quality.
