Intervene tional Therapy of Puerperal Massive Hemm orrhage with the Embolization through Uterine Artery:A Report of 11 Cases

Objective To explore the clinical practice value of uterine artery and internal iliac artery embolism treating the postpartum hemorrhage.Methods 18 cases with postpartum hemorrhage were treated with selectivity two-side internal iliac artery and uterine artery embolism technique,treats embolism material was the gelatin sponge strip or pellet.Results In 11 cases postpartum hemorrhage,16 cases stop bleeding completely without serious complication.Conclusion Involvement embolism has the characteristics of hematischesis rapid,the wound small,retaining uterine and so on for treating the postpartum hemorrhage,should be effective and safe.
