Abstract

This thesis attempts to analyze the historical background that caused the concept of post-modern library from the angle of history and reality.It also interprets the essential characteristics and connotation of post-modern library,fixing its reasonable location.This paper aims at guiding readers to get a correct understanding of mainstream model and developing trend of current library so that they bring new essences into traditional library to fulfill sustainable development by locating present library through the post-modern thinking style.
