Abstract

The paper was summarized from the concept of plant stem cell, the organization characteristics of shoot apical meristem, root apical meristem and vascular cambium, as well as their molecular mechanism,which was studied in recent years. The involving molecular mechanism of the plant stem cell initiation and differentiation was emphasized, and its future prospect was expected.
