Abstract
The effect of N fertilization on agronomic traits and yield of potato in southwest area of Guangxi was investigated to rationalize the N fertilizer and fertilization pattern in patato production in Pingguo district of Guangxi during 2012.Results show that the N application rate in high fertility soil should lower than the rate recommended by soil testing and fertilizer optimization program.Adequate P and K(P2O5 75 kg/hm2,K2O 180 kg/hm2) and 70% of the nitrogen fertilizer(68.25 kg/hm2) as basal fertilizer, and 30% of the nitrogen fertilizer(29.25 kg/hm2) as seedling fertilizer is an optimal fertilizer treatment for winter potato planting in southwest area of Guangxi.
