Abstract
The newest video coding standard based on H.264 has a excellent compression performance and network affinity.It will play an important role in real-time video communication,network streaming media,multimedia short message,etc.The concept of the media transport technology and the architecture of real-time streaming protocol(RTSP) were firstly described,Then the encapsulation of H.264 streaming with the RTP packets is focused on.At last,the main methods to realize the audio-video synchronization are discussed when programming for the H.264 streaming video transport based on the RTSP.The agreement will be useful for the development of media server of H.264 based on RTSP.
