Abstract

Listening comprehension is very essential in English learning.Listening strategy is one of the most important factors in listening comprehension.This paper made an empirical study on listening strategies used by non-English major students by means of questionnaire.Analysis indicates that students seldom use listening strategies in listening comprehension.Some measures to improve the students' listening abilities are given accordingly.
