Abstract

This paper presents recent advances in apomixis studies on embryology and genetics in guineagrass(Panicum maximum Jacq.). So m e problems in relation to apomixis reaserch on guineagrass are discussed. It i s pointed out that guineagrass is a promising material both for theoretical an d a pplied studies of apomixis.
