A Research on Correlation and Prevention of College Students with Internet Addiction and Life Events

80 college students were assessed with the Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check List(ASLEC) and the internet addiction set.The research results show: ①The College students who are common users take a large proportion.The students with moderate and serious internet addiction account for 7.8%.②The internet addiction is correlated with six factors of negative life events for college students.③Their scores of college students with serious internet addiction are significantly higher than those of the ones with moderate,low-grade internet addiction and common users in interpersonal relationship,study stress and healthy adaptation.Their scores of college students with moderate internet addiction are significantly higher than those of the common users in suffering punishment.On the basis of the results,there comes to some proposals and measures on preventing college students from being addicted to internet.
