There has been an encouraging progress with democratic governance in Hangzhou City,which has obtained widespread attention and caused highly praise in academic circle.Related to this progress is management of the village within city,which is also remarkable.The prominent features are emphasis of the livelihood,promotion of science,focus on modern consciousness and cultural quality.However,the limitation is obvious,which mainly manifests in: one-way development,lack of creativity,theoretical weakness.Therefore,the keys to governing the village within city,not only for Hangzhou City but also for whole China,are to renew concept in an advanced vision and establish a diversified pattern for city and rural development.
