Abstract

This paper starts with the significance of lexis research in special books, analyzes the common methods of special books lexis research using practical examples, points out their shortcomings and put forward a three-dimensional method of lexis research in special books.The method consists of horizontal comparison of contemporary works, vertical comparison of works in different times,and consideration of regional factor.The main intention of this paper is to discuss how to efficiently make use of the stuff in special books lexis study, advocating to use three-dimensional method synthetically.
