Abstract
superoxide dismutase (SOD) dose dependently prevent gastric mucosa from injury induced by stress, pyloric ligation and asprin sepectively in rats. The level of malondialdehyde (MDA) in the mucosa was decreased. The result showed that damaging changes of surface epithelial of the mucosa was descended, and promoted the mucus secret by pretreatment with SOD on pyloric ligation in rats. Its suggested that SOD could protective the cuted injury of gastric mucosa, and it probably increased the preventive ability of gastric mucosal barrier.
