Abstract
In order to well know the water quality of urban rainfall runoff,in this paper,the characteristics of road surface runoff at Jiefang road in Xi'an city is studied.The runoff samples in different period of two rainfalls are collected to monitor.The monitoring indexes include the turbidity,COD,SS,NH3-N,NO-3-N.The result shows that pollutant average concentration can be used to evaluate the water quality of runoff.The pollutant content in initial runoff of every rainfall is higher and decreases along with the time.The main factors affecting the pollutant contents in runoff include the early sunshine days and runoff characteristics,and so on.Initial washing occurs in both the two runoff.The research result can provide guidance for the use of urban rainfall runoff.
