Abstract
Asian cultivated rice can be divided into two main subspecies-indica and japonica subspecies, they possess characteristic from external shape, anatomical character and genetic material,so it form phenotypic traits taxonomy based on external shape and anatomical character, form molecular marker taxonomy based on genetic material.By summarizing phenotypic traits, difference of and classification of indica-japonica subspecies,it discussed accuracy and adaptability of taxonomy with indica-japonica cross method.
