Abstract
The chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll content of several sun plants and shade plants was determined by spectrophotometry method using acetone and alcohol as extraction. The results showed that the trend of the total chlorophyll conten was:Rosa chinensis Calliandra haematocephata Syngonium podophyllum Ophiopogon japonicus cv. Episcia cupreata Duranta repens cv.golden leaves. So,the chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b and total chlorophyll content of both shade plants and sun plants had the difference in the color so that they showed different colors.
