Abstract

In the experiments,one biomass sample(sawdust) was mixed with lignite in the proportions of 15:85,30:70 and 50:50.The pyrolysis behavior of the blends was experimented with the thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) method at the same calefactive rate.The difference between the pyrolysis characteristics of the biomass sample and lignite was discussed,and the influence of the biomass sample on the lignite pyrolysis was studied when lignite-biomass co-pyrolysis occured. The results showed that the maximum decomposition rate of biomass is higher than that of lignite, but the corresponding temperature is lower.The characteristics of lignite-biomass co-pyrolysis are however not similar to lignite or biomass.The heat release of the co-pyrolysis is more dependent on the proportion of biomass.
