Repair of nasal septum perforation with temporalis fascia under nasal endoscope

Objective To research the clinical experiences of repair nasal septum perforation with temporalis fascia.Method The experiences of repair nasal septum perforation in eight patients of the past three years was retrospective analyzed.Two patients of epistaxis in little area,led to nasal septum perforation after ND-YAG laser treatment,three patients after the traditional nasal septum reconstruction,2 patients after the trauma and 1 patient after heavy metal intoxication.Results The 8 patients were all recovered after the surgery.Conclusion Intranasal endoscopic reconstruction surgery with temporalis fascia for nasal septal perforation is economic,universal,simple,safe and effective.
