Abstract
320 strong motion records are appropriately selected from several earthquake events in the world.Based on Code for Seismic Design of Railway Engineering,PGA of selected seismic motions are adjusted to the standard protected earthquake intensity of 6 degree,7 degree,8 degree,9 degree under rarely met earthquake.Based on the Takeda bilinear stiffness degradation model, the elasto-plastic dynamic analysis program is used to do the parametric analysis on the seismic response of elastic-plastic single-degree-of-freedom considering seismic magnitude, site conditions and periods. So,some meaningful references are provided for establishing the elasto-plastic response spectra which can help for the performance-based seismic design for bridge.
