Abstract

A filter made of one-dimensional photonic crystals was designed with the transfer matrix method.Of the one-dimensional photonic crystal with F defect layer and the A(BA)NF(AB)M A structure, the two primary factors were the ratio of the thickness between A and B,and the middle defect layer. The ratio of the transmissivity, which is influenced by the ratio of the thickness between A and B and the middle defect layer, was simulated through the computer. The design methodology of the one-dimensional photonic crystal filter was thus achieved. The design and optimization of a photonic crystal total internal reflection mirror was investigated for the wavelength of optical communication, which is assisted by the eigenvalue equations of the TE and TM modes of the one-dimensional photonic crystal. Finally,an interspaces optical communication system was designed by the one-dimensional photonic crystal applied to the Cassegrain optical antenna system.
