Abstract
This paper illustrates the development background,definition and structure models of storage virtualization technique.Implementation methods of storage virtualization and its characteristics are analyzed,as well as the key techniques.Finally it is pointed out that there is still no high standard for storage virtualization and only when such interoperability problems as operating platform,network and storage utilities are resolved,could storage virtualization technology development be greatly advanced.
