Abstract
The antioxidant activities, polyphenol acid and flavonoid contents were discussed in this article, and studied the relationship between polyphenol acid and an- tioxidant activity. Furthermore, measured the main chemi- cal constituents of propolis collected in various geo- graphic origins. The results showed that antioxidant activ- ities of propolis from different areas were different, and the content of polyphenol acid and flavonoid were also different, and there existed some positive correlation be- tween polyphenol and antioxidant activities. The main chemical constituents of propolis of various areas had great significant different, which indicated that propolis had complex chemical constituents, and antioxidant activi- ties of propolis of various areas were the results of syn- ergistic effect of multiple constituents.
