In this paper, the nonlinear dynamic model of rub rotor system is developed by considering the oil film force. A numerical simulation program is developed to study the dynamic characteristics of a rub rotor. The simulation results prove the correctness of the model. As a result, this study provides the theoretical foundation for the fault diagnosis of a rotor system.
