Abstract

A method for the FAAS determination of Cu Zn Pb Cd and Ni in muddy soil is described. The muddy soil sample is digested with acid mixture of HNO 3-HF-HClO 4. The elements mentioned above are then determined by FAAS. The RSD′s of the method are found to be in the range 0.8%~6.0% and the recoveries are in the range 95%~103%.
