Abstract

The Geographic Information System (GIS) is a tool which is designed for computer system to efficiently capture,store,update,manipulate,analyze and display all forms of geographically referenced information.According to the characteristics of the information management in oil fields,some general technical problems in the design and application of WebGIS are focused.
