Abstract
Objetive To investigate the application of serum hs-CRP and the correlations between Them in type 2 diabetes. Methods The levels of serum hs-CRP and TC/HDL-C in 72 type 2 diabetis and 65 controls were detected by Olympus Au 2 700. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP and TC/HDL-C in type 2 diabetes group were much higher than those in control group(P0.01,P0.05). Conclusion Serum hs-CRP level is associated with serum lipid level and inflammatory response might play an important role in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes. In type 2 diabetes there is an increased risk of development of cardiovascular diseases.
