Abstract

Objective To explore the damaged condition of autonomic nerve function and clinical characteristic of heart rate variability on essential hypertension (EH) combined type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Methods Fifty cases of EH patients in our hospital were randomly selected as EH group, and 50 cases of EH combined T2DM patients as EH + DM groups 24 h dynamic electrocardiogram of the two groups was recorded respectively. HRV index was compared. Results SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD of EH + DM group were significantly lower than those of the EH group (P0.05). Difference of PNN50 between two groups was not statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion Autonomic nervous function of EH and T2DM patients is significantly impaired.
